Traidcraft

Our sponsors Traidcraft were set up by a group of Christians as a practical response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  They helped to pioneer fair trade in the UK, they demand justice for the poor and they rely heavily on the support of the Christian community in their mission of fighting poverty through trade.

But with increasing success has come increased competition and their prophetic voice will be lost without the continued support of Christians.

Back To Church Sunday is committed to using ethically sourced or Fair Trade materials wherever we can, so we are delighted that Traidcraft are our sponsors.  That means that all the posters and invitations that we produce are on the highest grade FSC materials (so that we’re not responsible for damaging any forests!).  Our t-shirts are sourced through Traidcraft - the cotton is organic and Fairtrade and they are produced in India which keeps even more of the benefits in the global South.  Our great value coffee morning packs contain Fairtrade tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits, everything you need to extend the “Welcome” you offer.
